Update to Advertising Mail Guidelines

We have updated the Advertising Mail content guidelines to provide clarity in respect of what content is in scope of “Membership or subscription magazines / publications, with or without advertising”, and does constitute Advertising Mail.

TV listings, Consumer Magazines and Business Magazines which are sent as a prospective copy for the purpose of enrolling the customer in to future memberships or subscriptions will constitute Advertising Mail. These copies must be sent with a covering note or letter clearly demonstrating the context of why they are being sent and how the recipient can subscribe to get further copies.
