CWU Industrial Action ballot results
19-07-2022

We are disappointed CWU members have voted in favour of industrial action. A ballot result does not necessarily mean there will be industrial action and we have not been notified of any dates for potential action. For any industrial action to take place, the CWU must provide Royal Mail with 14 days’ notice. We will continue to seek an agreement with the CWU, but we must agree on the changes required to ensure Royal Mail can grow and remain competitive by being responsive to what customers need.

Whilst we understand even a threat of industrial action causes concern, you can continue to send your parcels and letters. If we are notified of any industrial action dates by the CWU we will  provide further guidance . We will have contingency plans in place to protect service and minimise disruption as much as is possible.
