Royal Mail Wholesale releases 2nd Class Christmas Digital Stamp
2025-09-25

We are delighted to inform you that Royal Mail Wholesale has released the new 2025 2nd Class Christmas stamp image as an image option for use on Digital Stamp mailings. This year we are also introducing a 2nd class Large Letter Christmas stamp image.

Christmas Digital Stamp mailings can be handed over to Royal Mail from 4 November 2025 until 31 January 2026.  Please remember that you cannot use Digital Stamps on Priority Items.

XmasXmas

In preparation for the 4 November we are pleased to offer the opportunity for Wholesale customers and suppliers to gain accreditation and approval to be ready for mailings following the official launch.  The Digital Stamp Design Specification can be found at Appendix F of the Access User Guide where you will also find full details of the artwork approval process. Print production sites producing a digital stamp for the first time, including this Christmas stamp, must gain accreditation prior to their first digital stamp mailing.  Sites already holding accreditation must repeat the process if they wish to produce the Christmas Stamp image.

Please note that you must treat the image as confidential until 4 November and it should not be included on any of your promotional material or website.

What to do next?

If you wish to use a Digital Stamp design on your mailings, you must:

  • use Mailmark for all digital stamp mailings;
  • be able to meet all aspects of the Digital Stamp Design Specification
  • ensure that you use the correct Digital Stamp artwork.  This can be obtained from chris.hadlow@royalmail.com;
  • have entered into the Digital Stamp Agreement; and
  • ensure that your print supplier is aware of and completes the required approval process prior to Digital Stamp use.

The approval process must be completed by all customers.

Some key features to note

  1. Digital Stamp Indicia can only be used with Access Mailmark mailings.  They cannot be used on Priority mailings.

  1. We continue with the artwork approval process for Digital Stamp Indicia.  The process aims to reduce administration for customers with a one off, upfront, site specific, print supplier approval for Digital Stamp designs.  For details please refer to  https://royalmailwholesale.com/indicia.

  1. You will need to include us as a seed/sample in each Digital Stamp mailing so we can verify that the Digital Stamp Design Specification is being met on an ongoing basis.  The Digital Stamp Design Specification contains guidance for seeding requirements.  You need to provide us with written confirmation that seeding arrangements are in place for each customer using Digital Stamp Indicia. Samples should be sent to :
