The Royal Mail Service List  provides a list of all access services and their corresponding DocketHUB and SAP codes. You can access the Service List via Dockethub in the 'Reports' section under the 'Service Status List' category.

Access Selection Files

Our database supports customers in the use of the most up to date sortation data

We support our customers in the use of the most up to date sortation by regularly updating our databases. This revision brings about a new "Version" of the Selection Files. Please ensure the correct version of the Access Selection Files is used. 


During the lifetime of the Access Selection Files, it is sometimes necessary to make changes for the introduction of new Postcodes.  If new Postcodes are introduced, then a new Access Selection File "Release" is produced which reflects these additions. 

The launch of a new Access Selection Files is always "Release 1" and each new release thereafter is then numbered sequentially, until the next Version is produced.

To ensure that our customers' mail is processed and delivered to the right address as quickly and efficiently as possible, all our customers are required to use the current Version of the Access Selection Files to sort their postings. And it is recommended that customers use the most recent Release of the Access Selection Files.
Both the latest Versions and Releases of the Access Selection Files can be downloaded using the links below. 

In addition to the Access Selection files there are also variants for the 49 way sort mech letter option and Poll Sort provided below. 

The Access Selection Files are available in Fixed Field Width and Comma Delimited Field text formats for use by Access sortation software.

CFL Database (Labelling)

Linking correct standard selection codes with routing and content information

The Royal Mail Access CFL Files link the correct standard selection codes (SSC) with the routing and content information that our customers require for Royal Mail Access customer final labels.

The files include a mail centre address look-up table that incorporates a unique Mail Centre Code. This provides a link between the mail centres and their Access selection codes as well as an additional field for the mail centre name.

It is important to note that the use of the latest release of the Royal Mail Access CFL Files is required.

The CFL Files are available in Fixed Field Width format for use by Royal Mail Access sortation software.
