Reminder about our Advertising Mail Seed check process
27-11-2019
Since 29 May 2019, we have been working closely with our customers to support them in ensuring a seed is provided for all Advertising Mail postings, in line with contractual requirements. We fully appreciate the efforts all our customers are making to improve the provision of seeds, and to ensure that their customers are compliant with the requirements of Advertising Mail services.

We are confident that the progress being made by customers is a positive step towards achieving 100% compliance. We also appreciate that some customers still require some support in implementing the new process, and we will continue to work with them to overcome challenges they are facing. Following feedback from customers, we have already made enhancements to the Mailmark reporting tool so that customers, and their supply chain partners, can identify which Mailmark seeds we have physically received.

It is important you continue work with your Account Director to identify ongoing issues, and we will assist as best we can to tackle them.

As a reminder, for postings made on and after 20 January 2020, we will begin removing the Advertising Mail discount where a seed has not been provided within two weeks of our request.

Sending seeds for non-Advertising Mail, non-Responsible Mail and non-Partially Addressed Mail

It has come to our attention that some customers are sending in seeds for non-Advertising Mail, non-Responsible Mail and non-Partially Addressed Mail postings. The Access Letters Contract only requires customers to provide a seed for Advertising Mail, Responsible Mail and Partially Addressed Mail postings. Please do not provide a seed for any other type of posting.

We thank you again for your continued support.
