As you are aware, last month we moved discussions with the Communication Workers Union (CWU) regarding deployment of Universal Service reform into our Achieving National Agreement Procedure in an effort to reach agreement.

The Achieving National Agreement Procedure is our established dispute resolution process which provides a framework to have focused and meaningful discussions so that agreement can be reached as quickly as possible.

The process was due to conclude this week and we have agreed with the CWU to extend it until 16 March.

Discussions have been constructive and we look forward to continuing the talks to hopefully reach agreement on Universal Service reform deployment as soon as possible.
