Royal Mail has today announced new Access Letters price increases that will take effect from 7 December 2026. At the same time, Royal Mail has withdrawn Contract Change Notice 129 (CCN129), which was issued on 23 July 2026 and set out price increases that had been due to take effect in October 2026.

The October 2026 price increases were suspended following Ofcom accepting a referral to resolve a dispute about the changes. Delaying price increases for Access business customers is negatively impacting the financial sustainability of the Universal Service and, as a result, we have notified customers of new price increases that will take effect in December.
