Access Customer Final Labels
The Access CFL Database links the correct selection codes with the routing and content information required for Access customer final bag labels.
The database includes a Mail Centre address look up table which incorporates a unique Mail Centre Code, which provides a link between the Mail Centres and their Mailsort Selection Codes as well as an additional field for the Mail Centre name.
The new version of the Customer Final Label (CFL) Database is Database 2010 Release 1, which will come into effect on 27 September 2010. It is therefore important to note that the use of Access CFL Database 2010 Release 1 database is mandatory for all Access customers from 27 September 2010.
If you have any problems updating your Final Labelling software:
- Customers requiring further information should email Paul.Greenhaugh@royalmail.com.
- Customers who have been supplied with Final Labelling equipment and software by Royal Mail should call Joanne Lee at The Barcode Warehouse on 01636 602 000.
- Customers using Final Labelling software which was not provided by Royal Mail may need to contact their supplier to arrange for their software to be updated with the Access CFL Database 2010 Release 1 from 27 September 2010.
- Customers who have developed their own Final Labelling solutions will need to incorporate the new database, which is available to download below. This database is described in detail in the Access Labelling Appendix of the Access User Guide.
Downloading a Database:
In order to be able to inform you of changes and updates to the Access Database, we require a few details before proceeding. When you click on "Download Access CFL Database ....", below, you will be taken through the registration process.
If you have registered with Royal Mail Wholesale before, then you will not be required to register again. However, please do let us know by email if your details have changed.
Download Access CFL Database 2009 Release 4 for use from 12 July 2010 until 26 September 2010.
Download Access CFL Database 2010 Release 1 for use from 27 September 2010.
