There are two elements for accreditation:
• Mail Sorting Machine Output - please see details below. (optional)
• Mailpiece Design and Printing - for contact details, arranging for mailpiece design and printing accreditation and Form B, please click here. (mandatory)
The purpose of this section is to explain what is necessary for users of mail sorting machines who wish to obtain accreditation for their output for Access services.
The accreditation test process for mail sortation machine output is a variant of that normally used for test software sortation for the various Access services. This test has been adapted to enable users of various mail sortation machines to obtain, if they so wish, the accreditation for the output from the machine for use for specific Access services.
If you wish to have the sortation software within your mail sorting machine tested, you will be required to sort a list of approximately 29,592 UK addresses by SSC, and submit for validation the electronic Computer Planning Report (CPR), line listing and the sorted test address list generated by your sortation software.
The first step in the test process is to contact the Wholesale helpline on 0207 371 3727.
