Service Name	Description
Access 1400	Available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. For a wide range of items including irregular sizes, and up to 2kg in weight per item. Mail must be sorted to approx. 1400 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy.
Access 120 Letter	Letter format mail available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. Mail must be sorted to approximately 120 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy. Maximum item weight is 100g.
Access 120 Large Letter A3 Packet & Packet	Large Letter, A3 Packet and Packet mail available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. Mail must be sorted to approximately 120 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy. Maximum item weight is 2kg.
Access 120 OCR	Available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. For letter machinable mail only. Mail must be sorted to approximately 120 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy. Customers must use a recommended OCR readable font to write the address. Customers must pass an OCR quality assurance process prior to obtaining a contract. Maximum item weight is 100g.
Access 120 CBC	Available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. For letter machinable mail only. Mail must be sorted to approximately 120 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy. Customers apply machine-readable barcodes (CBCs) with the address. Customers must pass a CBC quality assurance process prior to obtaining a contract. Maximum item weight is 100g.
Access 70 OCR	Available for both Standard and Premium postings injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. For letter machinable mail only. Mail must be sorted to approximately 85 selections throughout the UK with at least 90% (95% for Premium) postcode and address accuracy. Customers must use a recommended OCR readable font to write the address. Customers must pass an OCR quality assurance process prior to obtaining a contract. Maximum item weight is 100g. Mailing Items may only be posted in trays – bags must not be used. Available from 27th September 2010 for Standard and Premium postings.

Access 700 CBC	Available for Access Standard postings. Mail injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day. For letter machinable mail only. Mail must be sorted to approximately 700 selections throughout the UK with 100% postcode and address accuracy. Customers must apply machine-readable barcodes (CBCs) with the address. Customers must pass a CBC quality assurance process prior to obtaining a contract. Maximum item weight is 100g.
Access Walksort	Available for Access Standard postings. Mail injected into an Inward Mail Centre during a defined access slot for delivery the following working day, which the customer presents sorted by postal delivery walk. 100% of items in the mailing must be fully and accurately addressed and postcoded. All mailings must meet a penetration level of at least 10% of households in the coverage area. Applicable for letter, large letter and A3 Packet formats. Maximum item weight is 750g.
Mixed Weight	The Mixed Weight service option enables customers handing over Large Letters, A3 Packets or Packets at an Inward Mail Centre to combine, within a single format, Mailing Items of different weight bands within a Container. Mailing Items must be sorted by the customer to the Access 120, Access 1400 or Access Walksort selections.
Royal Mail Responsible Mail™	This additional service option is available for addressed Mailing Items of Direct Mail using existing Access services e.g. Access 120OCR. There are two levels of mailing specification: Entry level and Intermediate level. Responsible Mail Entry level offers a price reduction of 0.3p per item, and the Intermediate level a further 0.4p (totalling 0.7p) reduction for meeting criteria in addition to the Entry level, off the normal Access prices e.g. off Access 120 OCR.
Royal Mail Advertising Mail™	This additional service option provides customers with the opportunity to benefit from a per item price reduction of 0.25p for addressed Direct Mail Mailing Items posted through existing Access Standard and Premium services. The service is only available for Letter formats. To achieve the price reduction, the Mailing Items must be Letter Format and meet the Advertising Mail specification for item contents.
Mail Centre Extraction Service	The Service is only available for machineable letters and postcards addressed to international destinations. The service allows Customers to design and produce their own personalised international stamps for retail sale in the UK for delivery outside of the UK. All international stamp designs must be pre-approved by Royal Mail. Mailing items bearing these international stamps can be posted into Royal Mail post boxes before being extracted at Royal Mail outward mail centres and handed over to the Access Customer. The Access Customer is responsible for the onward international conveyance of the items. Maximum item weight is 20g. Item price is 16.06p plus hand over charges. Post Office® Collect Service	The Post Office® Collect service enables Postal Delivery Operators (the customer) to offer the intended recipient of items of mail the use of participating Post Office® branches as a collection point for undeliverable packages. The customer may choose to take the package to a convenient Post Office® where it will be held whilst awaiting collection by the recipient. The customer is required to leave a calling card (notification card) with the intended recipient advising the Post Office® branch the package has been taken to and the dates it will be available for collection. The service operates in the same way as the Royal Mail Local Collect and Parcelforce Worldwide Convenient Delivery services. The service charges comprise a fixed annual charge of £367,132 and a per item charge of £1.0267.
